چکیده

The main objective of this study is destined to combine the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Weight Evidence (WOE), Logistic Regression (LR) methods and geographic information system (GIS) predict landslide susceptibility Echorfa region (northwestern Algeria). Nine factors such as slope, aspect, lithology, distance faults, lineaments density, streams, precipitations, land use altitude are included in evaluation process. A detailed inventory map established by satellite images filed surveys. Three maps using different statistical models. Five categories generated GSI classification nil, low, moderate, high very susceptibility. performance models calculate based area under curve Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) which give a satisfactory result, results showed that weight evidence method more than two other techniques. produced provide important spatial about prone area, where constructed map’s content will help decision makers planning.

Presentation of new ensemble method of Bayesian and logistic regression models in landslide susceptibility assessment in the Khalkhal Township

The aim of current research is to assess of landslide susceptibility in the Khalkhal Township, southern Ardabil using an ensemble and new method namely Bayesian and logistic regression (BT-LR) models. At first, landslide inventory map was prepared and then effective factors on landslide occurrence were identified. These factors are slope degree, plan curvature, slope aspect, elevation, landuse,...

A GIS-based comparative study of the analytic hierarchy process, bivariate statistics and frequency ratio methods for landslide susceptibility mapping in part of the Tehran metropolis, Iran

The high hillsides of the Tehran metropolis are prone to landslides due to the climatic conditions and the geological, geomorphologicalcharacteristics of the region. Therefore, it is vitally important that a landslide susceptibility map of the region be prepared. For thispurpose, thematic layers including landslide inventory, lithology, slope, aspect, curvature, distance to stream, distance to ...
